Bottega Limoncino
Limoncino Bottega is a “limoncello”, traditional Italian liqueur, dating from the late 19th century. It is produced from an infusion of lemon peel “Femminello”. This cultivar, widespread in Italy, is characterized by a fine grain shell and high quality essential oils. This lemon variety is called “Femminello” due to the fertility of the plant, which blooms all year round. Lemons are grown naturally and harvested at the peak of maturity, washed and peeled by hand, removing the white (bitter) part and only selecting the yellow shell that is rich in essential oils. Lemon peels are infused into alcohol for about 30 days. This allows the extraction of aromatic substances and dyes. The liquid is separated from the shell, finally, high quality sugar and grappa is added, which makes this Lemoncino unique and unmistakable.
